Monument record TR 26 NW 1127 - Second World War pillbox in a field to the north of Reculver Lane, Reculver

By November 1940 there was a pillbox in a field to the north of Reculver Lane, possibly facing northwards, out to sea. This was pillbox No.10 in the 1940 list of pillboxes in East Kent (2 December); it was in Sector 7 of the area, at the stated Military Grid reference R 656866. Traces may survive in the northern boundary of a field on the north side of Reculver Lane, although it has not been possible to verify this.
