Summary

In Aylesford Quarry there is a group of 3 buildings , probably of 19th century construction. A single storey 8 bay building in yellow stock brick has a steep, slated pitched roof, coming low on long sides.Attic space is accessed by a door in the gable end and by an outside wooden staircase. A second building is of brick with a slate roof, altered at the northern end. The third building is of weatherboard construction on a brick base, with a series of large doors along the eastern side. Their exact purpose is uncertain but they were probably workshops.
