Abstract/Summary

An archaeological evaluation at the Rose Garden, Ingress Abbey, Greenhithe, 2000. Three trenches were excavated, to assess the degree of preservation of the internal arrangements of the garden. Two adjacent cuts in two of the trenches were interpreted as planting beds. The north and south walls of the garden were also recorded; a full photographic record being made of the internal face of the southern wall.
