Abstract/Summary
This is the final report detailing the excavations within the Grade II listed Flint Cave. The Grotto was part of the ornamental post medieval landscape, one of a dozen follies at the site. The removal of the infill revealed a well built structure, which showed few signs of recent collapse or subsidence. The structure includes a main cave and two passages, one of which leads to an unfinshed chamber.
