Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on the site of an area that had formerly been ornamental gardens. Elements of garden design were found in all four trenches and so the entire area was stripped off to expose the archaeological horizon. The main features recorded were a series of paths and the base of a fountain.
