Abstract/Summary
Excavations between 2001 - 2002 in advanced of a proposed redevelopment of the area uncovered evidence for late iron age activity and settlement, probable peripheral Romano-British activity and part of an early medieval inhumation cemetery dated to roughly the 5th - 7th centuries.
