Author/Originator | Canterbury Archaeological Trust |
Date/Year | 2003 |
Abstract/Summary
There were two parts to this watching brief project. An area was stripped for a new car park, and apart from a modern pipe trench, no archaeological features or artefacts were observed. Secondly, an area was partly stripped and the excavation of foundation trenches for the new residential hall watched. On the south side of the site a ditch was observed running diagonally across the proposed south wing of the new building. No dating material was recovered from the ditch and no other archaeological features or finds were observed.
