Title | An Archaeological watching Brief on the site of the new Gymnastic and Community Activity Centre, Whitstable Road, Faversham |
---|---|
Author/Originator | Canterbury Archaeological Trust |
Date/Year | 2002 |
Abstract/Summary
A modern feature was noted in the foundation trenching observed. It was probably associated with the site's previous use as a goods yard. The site is surrounded by embankments, a railway one to the west, a man-made one to the east and a cut to the south which suggests that the whole site has had its brickearth quarried away.
