Watching brief works associated with the construction of a soakaway drain at the High School, observed the remains of a possible late bronze age/early iron age ditch, in the southern portion of the soakaway. The proximity of previously recorded archaeology to these works, suggest that other potential archaeological deposits along the line of the soakaway, have been removed by previous modern landscaping /construction activity.
