Abstract/Summary
10 trenches were dug during this evaluation, covering the northern half of the High School site. Archaeology was only recorded in trench 8 (in the se corner of the area), where two pits and possibly part of a previously recorded trackway or hollow way were noted. The report suggests that archaeology is likely to have occurred in trenches 6 and 7 as well, but the area had been truncated by previous development. The archaeology that was noted is clearly linked to the archaeology previously recorded south and east of the current evaluation.
