Abstract/Summary
                Sampling and analysis by tree-ring dating of timbers taken from Stonepitts Manor.   Timbers found to have been felled AD 1553-73 as well as earlier timbers felled AD 1497 were used in the  mansion's construction.  Information gleaned, employed in a project to establish a master chronology for Kent.
