Abstract/Summary
As usual the walls of the Nave must contain the earliest surviving faric above ground, though this is now oly reallysurvives at the West end of the curc, and possibly in the SE and the NE corners. Outside the West wall of the Nave at ground leval can been seen what is probably the West face of the Romanesque West wall. There are also some 12th century caenstone quoins at the NW corner.
