Author/Originator | Archaeology South-East |

Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation was conducted in the grounds of the school prior to a planning decision being made regarding extending the school complex. Ten trenches were opened as the site lies on the Weald Clay Formation. The river gravels have the potential for the survival of rare Palaeolithic remains while deposits of overlying alluvium could contain palaeoenvironmental remains.
