The report was produced by Cgms Consulting in advance of proposed development at the site, which now forms part of the wider Dairy Crest depot. The former Mission Hall is not a designated asset nor is it sited in a conservation area but is within the character zone of Royal Tunbridge Wells and Southborough. The building was completed in 1894 for use a Mission Hall; described as an imposing building of red brick, bath stone and plaster. A row of pews in the interior face the rostrum in the centre and chairs are placed down each side. The building transferred to the Wesleyan Methodist Church by 1907 until its closure in 1934. The use of the building during most of the remaining 1930s is unknown. John Brown's Dairies appeared to have taken use of the building by January 1939, although its specific use is unknown. The Dairy business was eventually incorporated into Dairy Crest. Planning applications were approved in 1997 for the removal of a canopy, a loading dock and windows. Further window replacements to the front (eastern elevation) took place following a planning application in 1999. The hall's western elevation and roof is visible on an aerial photograph of Skinners' School in 1924.
