A watching brief carried out during the excavation of a broad terrance into the sloping chalk hillside on Eastside Farm, East Lagndon which was required in order to accommodate the new extension. No evidence for earlier farm buildings was uncovered. Four cut-features of archaeological interest were recorded with only two of these features being examined in detail. No datable finds were recovered.
