Abstract/Summary
Report on the results of an excavation carried out at land off Hermatige Lane prior to a housing development of the site. Number of archaeological features uncovered including: two pits and a possible enclosure preliminarily dated to the pre-middle bronze age periods, a possible Late Iron Age/Early Roman Period enclosure possibly suggesting a settlment.
