Abstract/Summary

Archaeological Trust undertook archaeological works within the Great Cloister of Canterbury Cathedral as part of a scheme to install new lighting. The work involved the removal of stone slabs around the outer edges of the garth and the cutting of small pits within each of the bays for the installation of the lights and their associated function boxes. Despite the limited extent of groundworks, archaeological remains were observed and recorded.
