Abstract/Summary
Report on an archaeological evaluation conducted by Canterbury Archaeological Trust on land off Manston Court Road and Haine Road, Margate, Thanet, Kent, between 18 September and 10 November 2017. Features comprised 157 ditches/linear features, 42 pits, 19 post-holes, 9 sunken featured buildings, 9 trackways, 23 quarry pits, 9 other undifferentiated features and 1 agricultural feature. Six chronological periods were represented spanning the later prehistoric, late Iron Age to early Roman, later Roman, medieval and post-medieval periods.
