Abstract/Summary
Watching brief carried out on the site of a new boat house and during stabilisation works on the moat wall at the north-east corner. Two stone courses were found at the boat house site and evidence that suggested the upthrow from the moat was used to form the north bank of the moat. The excavation at the moat wall also foujnd two courses of stone. Capping stone was also found in the trench, probably related to a drain.
