Abstract/Summary
‘An intermittent archaeological watching brief was maintained during groundwork excavations associated with the proposed construction of a new single-storey extension against the rear of the existing Mill Cottage, Sharsted Hill, Newnham.
These works also required the formation of a new rear retaining wall, also to the rear (north) as well as a series of new drainage alignment which extended from across the rear terrace to existing drainage facilities located in the gardens to the southwest.’
