BF104548 THE FRIARS, BULL LANE, AYLESFORD
OP09439 An exterior view of the back of The Friars The image is attached to the reverse of a print of Gullege Farmhouse, and so has been retained in the West Sussex series. The Friars was originally built as a medieval Carmelite Priory. Following the reformation it was used as a house, and in 1949 was re-converted to a Carmelite Priory.
OP24925 View of the Monks' Chambers at the Friars, Aylesford, from the north-east This print was transferred from the library of the R.I.B.A. (Royal Institute of British Architects) in 1936.
