Abstract/Summary
An Archaeological Building Appraisal, equivalent to Historic England Level 1, of the garden walls, outbuildings and bothys at Court Lodge, Lamberhurst, Kent, where planning permission and Listed Building Consent has been granted for the development of the site, subject to certain conditions relating to its heritage interest.
The proposals intend to repair and restore the garden buildings and walled garden so they can be utilised and preserved into the future. These works have the potential to impact upon the historic fabric and setting of both the garden buildings and walled garden and therefore this will need to be mitigated against prior to the start of the works.
