Archaeological evaluation of an 8.2 hectare parcel of land at Lower Rainham Road, Rainham Medway, Kent. The evaluation was conducted in association with planning permission for a housing development of 202 buildings and 455 car parking spaces on the site. The evaluation comprised 54 trenches with 30x2m. Finds included an animal burial, postholes and pits, a 19th/20th century tramline, and a ditch. All dated features originated from the post-medieval - modern period.
