Abstract/Summary
Excavation in advance of proposed building close to site of settlement TR 13 SW 7 (NGR 612140 133880). Discontinuos, but long lived agricultura use was indicated by a thick desposit of topsoil containing worn and abraded pot-sherds of 8th to E13thC. Material recovered from the topsoil suggest that a settelemtn focus existed in the immediate vicinity but did not extend as far as this area.
