Abstract/Summary
Evaluation for site of new parish office. the excavation revealed the presence of a possible building of post-hole construction with a rammed chalk floor. The base of a fired clay hearth or oven overlay the floor. The structure may have been destroyed by fire, and there is evidence to suggest that salvagable elements were removed following this event.
