Abstract/Summary
Evaluation trenching for proposed construction of leachate and gas compound. There were no significant archaeological remains other than some pottery fragments of prehistoric age. The site was characturised by a seris of palaeochannels or chreeks. The possibility of palaeolithic remains was not realised during the evaluation, although some potential for retrieval still exists.
