Author/Originator | Archaeology South-East |
Date/Year | March 2005 |
Abstract/Summary
The development site lies adjacent to two nationally important Palaeolithic sites. Significant deposits may be present at the top of the Chalk quarry face at the westernmost extremity of the site. Otherwise there is no potential for Palaeoloithic remains and low potential for the recovery of archaeology dating to all periods. The excavation of test pits is recommended.
