2. A mediaeval timber-framed building refaced in the early C19.  2 storeys stuccoed. Old tiled roof with modern double dormer.  2 blanks and 2 sashes with verticals only on lst floor.  Ground floor has 2 cambered sashes with keystone and glazing bars intact.  2 doors, 1 having a pedimented surround incorporating the name of the Inn.  Plinth.  2 stone steps.
Nos 34 to 38 (consec) together with Nos 2 to 8 (even) Whitstable Road form a group.
