BIDDENDEN TENTERDEN ROAD 1. 5272 (east side) Biddenden Place TQ 8538 16/86 4.6.52. II* 2. Remains of original building erected by Edward Hendon in 1624. Two storeys and attics red brick and is of late Cl7 appearance. Hipped tiled roof having 2 dormers with carved gables. Stringcourse. Five casement windows with diamond- shaped leaded panes not quite symmetrically placed. Doorcase with flat hood over. Above the doorcase is a stone cartouche and the date 1624 with tile initials E H. Listing NGR: TQ8516038306
