Description

ASH MOLLAND LANE TR 25NE (west side) 5/26 Chequer Court 13.10.52 II House in moated site. C16, refaced C17 and extended C19 and late C20. Timber framed and clad with red brick with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and attic on plinth with plat band and roof hipped to left with pedimented Dutch gable to right. Two large projecting and offset stacks to left, that to rear with integral oven housing. Stack at end right. Three gabled dormers. Three cross windows on first floor and 2 glazing bar sashes on ground floor. Central door of 2 moulded panels in crenellated porch with moulded brick semi-circular arched doorway, C19 and C20 wings to rear. Interior: renewed roof structure. Ovolo moulded ribbed door, carved wooden overmantel. Ancient seat of Septvans family . Listing NGR: TR2820459054
