Description
                            From the Register of Scheduled Monuments
Vacant land of Roman remains in Adelaide Place. This is thought to be the area of the Roman temple. Five archaeological investigations in the area prior to development have found a shrine and fountains but no temple. Area is now part developed, a rectangular area of former archaeological excavation being left under grass. Remainder of scheduled area is at present car park.
