Projecting eaves and gutter with plastered soffit. Tiled roof, hipped to left. Ground floor with centre half-glazed and panelled door with flat projecting bracketted hood over. Casement window to right under flat, segmental brick arch. Half-glazed and panelled saloon bar entrance to left with side and top lights in pilastered frame with entablature over with carved corona and enriched ovolo moulding. 1st floor with 2 tripartite sash windows with glazing bars to right and left and centre recessed brick panel. Painted figure of "The Black Boy". in centre supported on projecting triangular shaped bracket. Yard to rear of public house with various C16 or C17 gabled outbuildings. Listing NGR: TQ5302054728
