Listed Building: THE COTTAGE (1070489)

WOULDHAM CP HALL ROAD TQ 76 SW (north side) 4/234 - The Cottage GV II Cottage. C16, restored in late C20. Random rubble plinth. Rendered on ground- floor with applied framing and rendered infilling on 1st floor. Plain tiled roof, hipped to left with projecting breast to rear. 2 storeys; slightly irregular three window front, with iron lattice casements and one doubled round- headed glazing bar sash to right. Central half-glazed door with segment-head. This building possibly had a continuous jetty along the front originally. 1 storey addition to left. Interior: substantial timber-frame evident. Queen- post side-purlin roof. Adjoins gardener's cottage at right. (qv). Listing NGR: TQ7142265282
