Built of diaper work brick in Flemish bond with 2 very steeply pitched tiled roofs. Stuccoed front, grooved to imitate masonry. 2 storeys and attics, 9 windows. Parapet with stone coping and moulded cornice. 3 C20 flat-roofed dormers. Right-hand part has 5 12-pane sashes with reeded architraves and doorcase with flat wooden hood, pilasters and rectangular fanlight with intersecting glazing. Left-hand part has similar windows (but with horns) and doorcase. Side elevation has deep wooden modillion cornice. Attached spear railings. No 37 has C18 staircase with turned balusters.
