Listed Building: STABLE BUILDING 20 YARDS TO EAST OF IGHTHAM MOTE (1281418)

TQ 55 SE IGHTHAM MOTE ROAD 3/13 (east side) Stable Building 20 yds to east of Ightham Mote II Stables. Late C19, possibly by R N Shaw. Coursed and galletted rubble stone with red brick dressings. Timber with plaster infill and decorated bargeboards to gables. Plain tile roof. L-plan with roofs at different height. Lean-to shelter at angle, protecting coach-house doors. West gable has pigeon-loft with pentice over. South wing has central stable door with subsidiary door to right and 3-light lattice casement to left. Bird-house in apex of gable on south wing. Further lean-to to south also with decorated bargeboards. Listing NGR: TQ5847253484
