Full Description
(TR36474839) On September 7th and 8th 1991, a metal detecting rally took place at Walmer Court Farm, Dover, ref SEDR-91. A late Iron Age coin dating toc 85-50 BC was found. It is of the Cantii and is a Cast Bronze Potin, measuring 16mm in diameter and weighs 1.13 gm. The obverse shows a celticised head of Apollo, thr reverse a bull charging left. Catalogue no SEDR-91-61. (1)
