Full Description

(TR36804915) On September 7th and 8th, a metal detecting rally took place at Walmer Court Farm, Dover, ref SEDR-91. A late Iron Age coin was uncovered dating c 100-90 BC. It was of the Trinovantes and is a Cast Bronze Potin measuring 17mm in diameter and weighs 3.13 gm. The obverse has a degraded head of Apollo, the reverse a bull charging left. Ref SEDR-91-50. (1)
