Full Description
(TR 3649) On September 7th and 8th 1991 a metal detecting rally took place here at Walmer Court Farm, Dover ref SEDR-91. Coins of the early medieval period, dating to the reign of Edward the martyr 975-978 found: SEDR-91-101 Edward the Martyr AR penny dating to 975-978 AD. Obverse side shows a diademed bust with and inscription and the revers a small cross pattee and inscription. Mint - London; Monyer - Aelfweard. (1)
