Full Description
(TR 3649) On September 7th and 8th, a metal detecting rally took place here at Walmer Court Farm, Dover, ref SEDR-91. Coins of the Medieval period were found: SEDR-91-82 Stephen 1135-1141 AD AR cut halfpenny SEDR-91-95 Henry III 1247-1272 AD AR cut halfpenny SEDR-91-33 Edward I-III late 13th-14th century AR penny SEDR-91-87, 51 Edward III 1327-1377 AR penny, halfgroat SEDR-91-41 Henry V 1413-1422 AD AR penny SEDR-91-80 Henry VI c1440 AR penny SEDR-91-111, 45 Henry VIII 1526-1550 AV Crown of the double rose, AR halfgroat (See Catalogue for details) (1)
