Landscape record TR 16 NE 1358 - Late Iron Age/ Early Roman Landscape, Herne Bay High School, Greenhill
Summary
Between July 1999 and September 2001 a period of archaeological excavations were carried out by Hertfordshire Archaeological Trust on land at Herne Bay High School. There were two sites under supervision, the temporary access road and the larger, main site on the all weather pitch. The archaeological finds suggested a late Iron Age to Early Roman landscape of field boundaries and post-holes.
