Summary

Between 1860 and 1870 the accommodation for the Warrant Officer and his family (alongside a variety of other structures) was constructed on the rising ground to the south of the casemated barracks at the South Front Barracks. This structure was a bungalow with a central through passage incorporating a lobby. Three bedrooms were located on the south west side of the passage, with a scullery, kitchen and living room on the other side. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
