Summary
In 2015 a watching brief carried out during new cabling works associated with the nearby solar farm found 5 pits. No finds were discovered and the pits have been interpreted as being post-medieval quarry pits.

Full Description
In 2015 a watching brief carried out during new cabling works associated with the nearby solar farm found 5 pits. No finds were discovered and the pits have been interpreted as being post-medieval quarry pits. The 1st edition Ordnance Survey map shows a quarry a short distance to the south of the pits. (1)
