Summary

A small number of widely dispersed later Bronze Age pits along with undated ditches and gullies were found during evalaution trenching at Stanley Farm, south of Marden.

Full Description

A small number of widely dispersed later Bronze Age pits along with undated ditches and
gullies were found during evalaution trenching at Stanley Farm, south of Marden. The small number of seemingly isolated pits spread across the majority of the site area. One curvilinear feature, from its form, may be of prehistoric date though no artefacts were recovered. Finds included Bronze Age pottery, frgaments of loomweight and oven superstructure, and struck flints (flakes and a scraper). (1)
