Features and deposits lay to the rear of buildings fronting the High Street, which were identofied in trenches 5 and 6. The nature of the brickwork perhaps indicates an eighteenth-century origin for these structures, though this remained unclear.

The structural remains recorded in trenches 2, 3 and 4 lie within phase C5. They form remnants of the row of terraced housing that is visible on the 1898 Ordnance Survey map. These are absent from the First Edition Ordnance Survey that was released in in 1869, and thus must have been constructed at some point between these dates. There would seem to be one main phase of construction and various alterations would seem to have been made during the lifetime of the buildings. Numerous internal sub-divisions were recorded, but it was difficult to clearly identify rooms due to the confined nature of the investigation areas. A yard surface was clearly observed to the rear of the structure in trench 3. Tile, brick and fragments from tobacco pipes were found. (1)
