Monument record TR 34 SW 2233 - Geophysical anomolies possibly representing former walls within the Keep Yard at Dover Castle

Summary

A magnetic, earth resistence and ground penetrating radar survey was undertaken within the Keep Yard of Dover Castle to inform further investigations at the Castle. The surveys picked up several linear and recti-linear anomalies apparently possibly relating fragments of former buildings, identified from the historic mapping and some areas of more fragmented responses that may, tentatively, be ascribed to building rubble. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
