Full Description
The Bread and meat store, which is located towards the southern end of the Castle complex, just to the north of the regimental institute, is a small service building which was constructed in 1894. its original use probably ceased when refrigeration became available. It is now used as an ice-cream parlour. The store is a small single-storey stone building with louvred roof and heavy overhanging hipped ends (perhaps for hanging meat or game).
