Monument record TR 25 SE 396 - Late Iron Age to Roman pit, Copman's Hall, Chillenden
Summary
A pit was discovered within the outline of a new swimming pool, and dated to the late Iron Age to early Roman periods by four grog-tempered pottery sherds. This may indicate the presence of nearby occupation. The full extent of the feature was not revealed in plan but remains in situ beyond the extent of the pool area.
