Summary

In 2005 an archaeological evaluation discovered a number of middle to late iron age featues including post holes and pits and pottery dating to the middle to late iron age. On the basis of the arrangement of the post holes it is suggested that the site may represent a round house.

Full Description

In 2005 an archaeological evaluation discovered a number of middle to late iron age featues including post holes and pits and pottery dating to the middle to late iron age in trench 10. On the basis of the arrangement of the post holes it is suggested that the site may represent a round house. The round house was accompanied by post holes possibly representing a porch, pits and a boundary ditch(1)
