Summary
During excavations ahead of development at Springhead an area of early Bronze Age activity was identified. Within this were a group of three post holes, their layout suggests a possible tripod structure measuring c.4m by c.5m (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)

Full Description
During excavations ahead of development at Springhead an area of early Bronze Age activity was identified. Within this were a group of three post holes, their layout suggests a possible tripod structure measuring c.4m by c.5m. The post holes were all circular and measured between 0.4m and 0.5m in diameter and between 0.1 and 0.24 in depth. Two of the post holes contained small amounts of worked a burnt flint, and one contained a decorated Beaker body sherd. (1)
