Full Description
During excavations undertaken by Wessex Archaeology ahead of development at Springhead, several features with a likely medieval date were uncovered. These included several medieval pits. One pit had been heavily truncated by modern services but was associated with two other features with the same date in its immediate area (a ditch and a well). (1)
